About the Division
The Operations Division manages the effective delivery of QRA managed funding programs, including responsibility for overseeing the joint State and Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and resilience funded projects by State and Local Government agencies and Non-Government Organisations.
About the Role
- Lead the delivery of contemporary and innovative approaches to internal and external stakeholder engagement and issues management including the continual improvement of processes and technology.
- Collaborate using inclusive internal stakeholder engagement practices to ensure a whole of QRA approach to the Liaison teams program priorities, issues identification and risk management.
- Identify, develop and implement initiatives to support and imbed continual improvement and risk governance in QRA's ability to interpret and apply DRFA.
- Represent QRA or the Technical Director at stakeholder meetings and events with relevant industry and community organisations and incorporate learnings into team and divisional planning.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback including the drafting of correspondence on behalf of QRA to technical matters within the Liaison team.
- Represent the Liaison team through technical advice and detailed understanding of the DRFA both internally and externally
- Model a culture of collaboration internally within QRA and represent the interests of the operations division and the Liaison team.
- Lead and manage a small portfolio of councils in effective issues identification, submission eligibility and development and guidance or assistance as necessary to facilitate accurate submission and timely lodgement.
- Act as the cell lead for the Liaison team as a part of the Disaster Recovery Coordination team.
- This role reports to the Technical Director.
