About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide quality financial, business, and operational support to the Business Manager and Critical Care & Clinical Support Services Service Line, including provision of accurate and timely information, the provision of financial reports, investigations of data and maintenance of cost centre structures. The role is to be performed in a manner that promotes the provision of quality and timely financial information and advice to the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Participate in the development, negotiation and monitoring of budgets and targets applicable to Critical Care & Clinical Support Services.
- Analyse, report on and present timely staffing, expenditure and activity data, highlighting the current performance of Critical Care & Clinical Support Services against budgets, targets and strategic goals. This includes the preparation of monthly cost centre reports.
- Provide active support to Critical Care & Clinical Support Services cost centre managers to ensure budgets are devolved and managed at cost centre manager level, in a cost-effective manner.
- Comply with the provisions of the Financial Accountability Act 2009 and Metro North Hospital and Health Service Financial Management Practice Manual.
