About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to Contribute to practice and service development, innovation and activities that improve medicines management for patients accessing Pharmacy services, and that are aligned to organisational goals, professional, legislative and ethical standards.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Undertake high level Pharmacy duties with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision including working outside of normal business hours and at weekends. If clarification is needed on possible rostered hours please contact Julie Withers or Carla Scuderi
  • Be flexible in approach to a clinical caseload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on rapid identification, prioritisation and resolution of patient medication issues
  • Deliver high level clinical Pharmacy services within the rostered Pharmacy area and to the allocated multidisciplinary clinical unit/team in accordance with prescribed professional, legislative and ethical standards
  • Supervise HP3 level, pharmacy interns and pharmacy students and support staff and participate in efficient and effective medicines dispensing services
