About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide services in Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant for patients at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and affiliated centres, promote and participate in clinical Haematology/BMT research activities, and participate in teaching.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Maintain high standards of service in Haematology/BMT.
- Act as a Fellow at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and provide services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the Director of Haematology/BMT in accord with the mission and goals of the Hospital.
- Serve in one or more specialised clinics in the Division of Haematology/BMT and serve on multidisciplinary clinics and services as required by other disciplines for the management of cancer patients.
- Perform general clinical duties.
- Engage in research programs within the department or in cooperation with other disciplines, including development of a specific clinical research project for completion during this appointment.
