About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for the timely supply and collection of equipment that ensures a continued approach to high quality patient care in an excellence and professional service that meets the needs of clinical areas. Operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the Patient Flow Services and other members of multidisciplinary teams.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Work with all Patient Flow Services (PFS) personnel to support the maintenance of patient flow across all services of the hospital and into the community, assisting to meet key hospital KPI's related to Patient Flow.
- Equipment is provided for short term loan and / or supply of clinical consumables for the clinical areas.
- Complete functional testing within the CELS and ensure appropriate data entry is completed.
- Assist and problem solve as required with clinical staff on the appropriateness of the use of clinical equipment under the control of the CELS according to the RBWH Procedure Guidelines.
