About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to contribute to the provision of a safe and effective hospital pharmacy service that is aligned to organisational goals and values, best practice, professional standards and legislative requirements.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and skills associated with pharmaceutical dispensing, distribution, clinical support and small-scale pharmaceutical manufacture.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain advanced pharmacy assistant roles including ward based clinical support, dispensary operations and education.
- Participate in the day-to-day delivery of pharmacy services within the scope of a pharmacy assistant including customer service, dispensing, imprest distribution (including S8/DS4s) and advanced pharmacy assistant roles.
- Exercise a high degree of autonomy, initiative and judgment in facilitating the provision of a pharmacy assistant service within multiple dispensaries of the RBWH and managing the service requirements accordingly.
