About the role

Permanent Full time opportunity to provide direct project management and delivery for Building Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) team projects (including Minor New Works) and act as the BEMS point of contact and liaison to all other project teams requiring BEMS assistance and input – hereafter referred to “Project Works”.  

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Work autonomously and exercise quality building and construction management practices to manage the delivery of nominated Project Works across the Redcliffe Hospital campus.
  • Prepare project plans, cost estimates, construction schedules and budgets for all assigned project works and monitor expenditure to ensure value for money outcomes are achieved.
  • Interface with Metro North BEMS Safety Management Team to ensure high quality safety practices and safe work environments are maintained at all times.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify scope for the development of detailed plans and specifications for Project Works and ensure all drawings are kept up to date and in an appropriate register as required.
