About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment programmes for patients within the hospital setting.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy clinical services within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement as experience builds, to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision and professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and experience through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities and clinical practice supervision.
- Contribute to effective team dynamics as well as patient and stakeholder relationships utilising well developed communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning, be able to communicate this effectively and act as a patient advocate when relevant.
