About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide high level operational and professional management for occupational therapy, recreation services, and the musculoskeletal outpatient podiatry (OPodTC) position across specialities within Redcliffe Hospital, in alignment with facility, Metro North Health and Hospital Service (MNHHS) and state-wide priorities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply expert level Occupational Therapy clinical knowledge to provide authoritative counsel and advocacy in the setting of state-wide Occupational Therapy professional standards of performance, strategic direction, safety and quality, patient care and inter service coordination through active participation and involvement in facility level, MNHHS and state-wide leadership forums.
- Accountable for all aspects of operational management, including strategic direction and planning responsibilities across multiple service lines and clinical specialities.
- Apply expert clinical knowledge and skills to the professional management of the Occupational Therapy Department, ensuring alignment with health service and state-wide priorities and adherence to professional standards and legislative directions.
- Be accountable for maintaining and developing strong relationships and partnerships within and outside Redcliffe Hospital Allied Health.
