About us:

Nutrition and Dietetics Services deliver care throughout the hospital departments and outpatient clinics, as well as in community based and rural services. High quality services are provided across the care continuum to client/patient groups across Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton regions. The Nutrition and Dietetics services also: provide education and training placements to undergraduate and post graduate students.

About the role:

  • As experience builds, apply increasing independent clinical judgement and decision making to more complex cases, under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior Dietitian.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage workload within a diverse work environment.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary person-centred care as well as coordinated and integrated service delivery through effective communication with teams, patients, and their families/caregivers.
  • Participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality clinical and service improvement activities, clinical research, education, and training activities to continually improve patient/client care and services.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution providing eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status.

  • The successful applicant must participate in and ensure compliance with credentialing and defining scope of clinical practice processes for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in relevant practice area/s are highly desirable.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
