About us:
Rockhampton Hospital is a 305-bed facility and the primary referral centre for Central Queensland, now featuring integrated cancer care services in a state-of-the-art building. It serves as a hub for nearby hospitals, including Gladstone, Emerald, Yeppoon, and Biloela, which transfer patients for specialist care.
The hospital actively trains medical students through the University of Queensland's Central Queensland Rural Clinical School and collaborates with Central Queensland University for Nursing and Health Studies, emphasizing the development of a local medical workforce.
Specialist services include Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Palliative Care, Psychiatry, and more. Recently, the hospital gained accreditation to train in multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics.
About the role:
Respond to enquiries and provide information and assistance to staff, patients, and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within a hospital setting. Contribute to patient flow by performing a support role to nursing and medical staff, coordinating all patient movements.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $28,268 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
