About us:

Mount Morgan Multipurpose Health Service is a rural service 40 kms from the main referring centre of Rockhampton. It is an integrated service within a modern building servicing a total of 20 beds. There is 10 Acute, 10 residential, 2 Emergency resus bays and multiple consultation rooms. It provides a wide range of services as per below:

  • Acute care services (inpatient, emergency, general outpatient care).
  • Community and public health care including cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Residential aged care and community health service.
  • Co located general practice service.
  • Licensed Operator Xray services.
  • Visiting services such as Podiatry, Dietitian, Optometrist, Dental, multiple telehealth services and more.

About the role:

  • Provide reception services including the management of enquiries.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and use computer-based systems with expertise for data entry, word processing and spreadsheets where required.
  • Work in all areas of administration including Reception, Bookings, Finance, Medical Records and Ward.
  • Undertake other administrative duties as required by the Director of Nursing which include meeting secretariate duties as required.
  • Provision of a quality client service and administrative support, including communicating, liaising, and negotiating with staff, clients, carers, and internal and external agencies as required in a confidential, courteous, timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain harmonious and productive work relationships and contribute towards being a team member whilst working within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide administrative support for the Director of Nursing, Medical Superintendent and visiting services, community programs and projects as directed.

About you:

  • While not mandatory, a Certificate or Diploma in Government or Office Administration or experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $51,397 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
