About us:

The Capricorn Coast Hospital is an integrated service which provides health care to the residents and visitors of the Capricorn Coast Region. The $26.37M Capricorn Coast Hospital was constructed on a Greenfield site at Hoskyn Drive, Yeppoon and opened on 8 February 2010.

About the role:

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and use computer-based systems with expertise for data entry, word processing and spreadsheets where required.
  • Manage workload appropriately and prioritising tasks on a daily basis that all work is completed within set timeframes and deadlines.
  • Effective and efficient management of workload through prioritisation of tasks and functions, ensuring high level administrative services are provided within designated timeframes, always in conjunction, collaboration and consultation with other administrative officers, as required.
  • Provision of a quality client service and administrative support, including communicating, liaising, and negotiating with staff, clients, carers, and internal and external agencies as required in a confidential, courteous, timely and professional manner.

About you:

While not mandatory, a Certificate or Diploma in Government or Office Administration or experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $58,593 p.a. (permanent) is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
  • An hourly rate between $48.51 - $53.95 p.h. (including 25% leave loading)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
