About us:

CQ Health's Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. The Division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and wellbeing, and engagement of our most important asset – “Our People”. The Workforce Division unit comprises approximately 40 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout Central Queensland Health (CQ Health).

About the role:

The Learning and Development Advisor works as a part of a team to develop, deliver and provide advice on learning and organisational development programs across CQ Health. This role will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects aligned with organisational priorities that contribute to delivering on our strategic objective ‘Great People. Great Place to Work'.

About you:

While not mandatory, relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Education, Adult Learning or Training and / or Project Management would be highly regarded.

  • Well-developed group facilitation and training skills, including developing and delivering human resource and professional development programs across various delivery mediums.
  • Demonstrated experience in using adult learning techniques to foster learning, scaffolding of exiting knowledge and create an environment of control over their learning journey.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in organisational development techniques including leadership development, team building and staff recognition programs.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $131,052 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $53.24 - $57.92 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
