About us:
The Adult Community Services Team is based in Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast and provides a service to consumers with complex mental illness in outpatient and home settings, through a range of community mental health interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations, and referral for adults from the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast regional area. The service works in collaboration with the adult mental health inpatient and acute care teams, and primary health, community, and private sector providers to reduce symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the role:
- This position will demonstrate advanced knowledge, experience, and integration of theoretical knowledge to practice.
- The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) provides care at an advanced level under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- The ENAS will demonstrate performance that enhances professional development of self and of others.
- Provide effective and efficient clinical care and work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and non-clinical personnel to provide quality nursing care.
- Maintain contemporary Mental Health Nursing practice through ongoing professional development.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients/residents/clients and visitors.
About you:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and the ability to apply that knowledge in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and ability to deliver high quality patient care services.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $94,242 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $39.25 - $41.65 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
