About us:

Eventide Home and North Rockhampton Nursing Centre provide residential aged care, including general high care, psychogeriatric care, and interim care. The Rehabilitation Unit encompasses inpatient and outpatient services. ACAT provides a community-based service completing Aged Care Assessments to support consumers access to aged care services. Transition Care Program provides community based slow-stream rehabilitation services, supporting consumers to transition from inpatient care back to their home.

About the role:

Clinical Facilitators are experienced clinicians who are employed across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), to facilitate and support the learning experiences of staff and students.  

The Clinical Facilitator actively engages in the development of a learning culture, through face-to-face interaction and teaching, whilst liaising with the clinical units and respective teams. The Clinical Facilitator models evidence-based and professional practice at a proficient level relevant to the areas of specialty.

About you:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position as well as current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
  • Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: A postgraduate qualification in which clinical education was a component would be well regarded. Successful completion of the preceptor program will be well regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
