About us:
At our Community Care Units, we provide medium to long term mental health care and rehabilitation in a supervised residential setting for people aged between 18-65 who are in recovery but require support to transition to independent living.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse performs the role under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Senior and is responsible for delivering high level, competent, evidence-based nursing care within the scope of practice. The position works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and reliable cares are provided within the dynamic health environment of the Community Care Unit. The Clinical Nurse with the multidisciplinary team will provide support and assistance to consumers of an adult age group with a diagnosis of a severe and enduring mental illness in their individualised recovery journey.
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Mental Health would be well regarded.
- Demonstrated an ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as other government and non–government services providers.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
