The Mental Health Clinician Intake provides thorough, consumer-centered mental health assessments, consultations, interventions, and training to facilitate coordinated care across Mental Health services, public hospitals, and the primary health and community sectors. About us:
The Capricorn Coast Mental Health Team is located in Yeppoon. The service provides specialised mental health services for the population of Yeppoon, Emu Park, Keppel Sands, Byfield and the surrounding areas. The Adult Community Team provides a service in outpatient and home settings, through a range of community mental health interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referral for adults from the Capricorn Coast area. The service works in collaboration with the local hospitals, other Mental Health Teams and with primary health, community and private sector providers to reduce symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the role:
The Mental Health Clinician Intake will engage in comprehensive consumer focussed mental health consultation, assessment, intervention and training to ensure seamless care for consumers between Mental Health, local public hospitals, and the primary health and community sector.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Registered Nurse
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
