About us:

This role will supervise, coordinate, and support a high functioning administration team that provides quality administrative services to the clinical subcontracting outsourcing department.

This role is responsible for enhancing and ensuring the accuracy of data input also the availability of staff, management, triaging and allocation of workloads, organisation of relief where appropriate and maintaining daily staff coverage along with assisting with invoicing, end of month reconciliation, capturing of activity and ensuring the patients clinical documentation is correct and is available in-patient medical records.

About the role:

  • Lead and direct Elective Surgery Outsourcing Administration Support to enable the achievement of best practice administrative services across the service line ensuring a coordinated, integrated service within the allocated budget that meets key performance indicators and business requirements.
  • Delegate tasks as required, developing others and creating an environment which encourages fairness, openness and concern for others, building on service and staff capability by promoting opportunities for staff education, training, development and undertaking performance management when applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, regulation, policies and procedures pertinent to the delivery of operational services and develop, interpret and coordinate the implementation of new and existing policies in consultation with operational Directors and Managers.
  • Conduct analysis of existing and future business processes using approved methods and tools, specifications that most effectively and efficiently meet business requirements, leading quality assurance activities through the evaluation, review and feedback of business improvements and appropriate issue escalation.

About you:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • Ability to apply appropriate priorities, negotiation skills and effective time management.
  • Leadership and management capability, particularly the ability to influence.
  • Ability to advocate and challenge in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, provide support; share information and credit, consider the views of and involves colleagues in decision making and deals effectively with conflict.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $131,052 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $53.24 - $57.92 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
