About us:
The Pharmacy Department at the Rockhampton Hospital manages all medications across the hospital, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospital.
About the role:
The Pharmacist Senior will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to their designated acute ward areas, and/or outpatient clinics, at Rockhampton Hospital and other facilities within Central Queensland Health (CQ Health).
The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary clinical rounds/meetings within the clinical care environment, contribute to the development of unit guidelines and procedures and participate in a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives.
About you:
A degree in pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent) is mandatory for this role.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia) is mandatory for this position.
- While not mandatory, a graduate diploma or masters qualification in an pharmacy-related field would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $13,113 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
