About us:

The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service Nurse and Midwife Navigator service operates from Gladstone, Biloela (Banana), Emerald (Central Highlands). Rockhampton (Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda). Key pillars of the Nurse and Midwife Navigator service include Coordination of consumer centred care; Creating partnerships; Improving consumer outcomes and Facilitate systems improvement.

About the role:

  • Provide administrative support by delivering accurate and efficient reception and office administration services that contributes to the effective operations of the business unit. Duties include, but are not limited to word processing, data entry, report preparation, correspondence management, filing and electronic diary management.
  • Contribute to patient flow by collating and registering referrals for intake meetings and liaising with a range of staff to coordinate service delivery.
  • Providing client records support for the team, preparing, and requesting patient records, chart tracking, chart filing and ensuring the safe confidential transport of medical records in accordance with policy and procedure
  • Providing secretariat support services, preparing Agenda's and taking Minutes for team meetings.
  • Adhere to and contribute to the development of team processes and systems, through participation in quality improvement activities.
  • Utilise hospital-specific computer systems in conjunction with the Microsoft Suite to effectively complete the requirements of the position.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly in the absence of supervision.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $58,593 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $38.81 – $43.16 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
