About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to the residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, in addition being the location of Acute Adult Inpatient facilities and an Adult Community Care Unit.
About the role:
To continually improve service integration and collaboration across the sector within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service district both internally and externally. The position focuses on building and sustaining relationships between government agencies, non-government organisations and private sector providers that will assist in facilitating the delivery of a coordinated, multi-agencies support response for consumers.
About you:
- Ability to quickly acquire and apply high-level knowledge of relevant Queensland Health and Mental Health Service standards, policy and procedures.
- Ability to quickly acquire and apply high-level knowledge of relevant State and Federally funded mental health support programs and services.
- High-level communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations.
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $74,161 p.a is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $61.20 - $65.56 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
