About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Banana, Woorabinda, and Central Highlands areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.
Rockhampton as the principal service centre for this area provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the acute adult inpatient facilities. In addition, there is an Adult Step Up Step Down facility located in Gladstone and a Community Care Unit located in Rockhampton.
About the role:
The Team/Nurse Manager Forensic Mental Health will effectively contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Group within Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service to lead a team to deliver contemporary mental health services.
- This role provides clinical expertise, operational management, and leadership for a team of specialist mental health positions working across CQMHAODS may be physically located in different locations across Central Queensland. The role applies well-developed clinical knowledge and skill and human, financial and resource management to contribute to the strategic direction of the service and provides authoritative counsel to internal and external stakeholders.
- The person in the role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to improve referral pathways, strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for collaborative care, innovation, and efficiency.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Registered Nurse
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
