Additionally, they assist the Chest Pain Assessment Service as a Cardiac Scientist when needed to support operational and staff development needs.

About us:
Cardiac Services, part of the Division of Medicine, offers outpatient and inpatient programs and specialised care. CROP promotes heart health education across multiple campuses, while CRIP supports hospitalised patients with risk assessment and education. HFS provides inpatient and outpatient care for heart failure patients.
CPAS offers Telehealth Stress Testing for emergency department patients. The Cardiac Investigation Service performs diagnostic tests like echocardiography and stress testing. The CCU manages acute cardiac conditions, and the Cardiology Ward provides ongoing care. From mid-2026, a new Cardiac Catheter Laboratory will expand diagnostic and therapeutic options.
About the role:
The Exercise Physiologist of the Cardiac Rehabilitation / Heart Failure Service Team is responsible for exercise testing, prescribing and supervision. As well as providing health promotion, cardiac education and risk factor screening activities, for patients, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
The Exercise Physiologist relieves in the Chest Pain Assessment Service Cardiac Scientist position when required to meet operational and staff development needs.
About you:
- Accreditation or eligible for accreditation, as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- A science-based bachelor's degree with a strong exercise physiology component
- A current First Aid Certificate is a requirement of this position.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $111,286 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
