About us:
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service team (Rockhampton) provides comprehensive assessment, treatment, and psychotherapeutic intervention for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with or with emerging severe and/or complex mental health conditions to the community of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Woorabinda, and Mount Morgan.
About the role:
The Mental Health Clinician delivers high quality evidence based clinical services in the therapeutic treatment of children and young people (and their family or carer networks) experiencing mental health issues and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. This includes crisis intervention, case management, therapeutic counselling, and physical health interventions, for example, physical health screening, observations and interventions and medication management.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Registered Nurse
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,566 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
