About the role:

  • Deliver an advanced level of clinical skill in one or more areas of a complex nature (General Medicine) with the ability to independently apply novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care based on valid and reliable evidence.
  • Provide high-level clinical advice to clinicians, relevant service and professional managers, and senior management regarding professional standards, service needs and development.
  • Provides high-level clinical leadership and direction in the development, implementation and review of professional standards, models of service delivery and clinical pathways utilising interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge and skills that ensures the best outcomes for patients and families.
  • Use advanced communication skills to align the general medicine service and influence the culture.

About you:

Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential, or for members of non-registered and self-regulated professions, eligibility for professional membership of the relevant professional association.

  • Possession of an Allied Health qualification from a registered tertiary institution in the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and/or Social Work.

While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role would be well regarded.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.12 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
