Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas, and explosives industries.

The Occupational Health division within RSHQ is seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our Surveillance & Reporting team in the Health Surveillance Unit.

With roles available on a permanent and temporary basis.

Are you a delivery orientated Senior Administration Officer, with a passion for interrogating and presenting data to inform?

If so the role of Senior Administration Officer in our Surveillance & Reporting team could be for you.

You will work within a team that review health and other data sources to identify and report on worker health trends in the mining and quarry sectors.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively review and interrogate data, and produce reports, ideally in a health setting.
  • An ability to organise and prioritise work effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Well-developed communication and facilitation skills (written and oral) with an ability to work collaboratively across all levels of internal and external contacts
