Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas and explosives industries.

The Occupational Health division is seeking an experienced manager to lead multiple teams within our Health Surveillance Unit to promote and enable current and former miners to access high quality health assessments.

This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high quality services and operational excellence? If so the role of Manager - Health Surveillance Unit (HSU) with the Occupational Health division at RSHQ could be for you.

As a Manager within HSU, you will guide, motivate and support your team leaders and their teams to deliver high quality services across a range of functions, including our former worker health assessment program and records management.

Your ability to communicate with influence, provide sound strategic advice and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to success in this role.

You will provide policy, program and coordination support to shape HSU's input to whole-of-agency, whole-of-government and national frameworks related to occupational disease prevention, detection and support.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated high-level skills, experience and knowledge in managing people, as well as high-level communication skills to develop, grow and maintain relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
