The e-Learning Designer works within the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) at the Safety in Mines Testing and Research Station (Simtars) to support the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training programs.

Do you have these skills:

- Formal qualification in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent Designing digital learning programs.

- High level experience in the development and implementation of digital learning programs.

- Demonstrated experience in instructional design and developing e-learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise in instructional design to develop and facilitate engaging training activities and assessments.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
  • Conduct research to inform content development, delivering both face-to-face and digital learning solutions.
  • Implement evaluation strategies to measure training effectiveness and enhance customer experience.
  • Utilise authoring tools like Articulate 360 to design and maintain eLearning programs.

Project Management:

  • Lead the lifecycle management of learning programs, ensuring timely delivery within resource constraints.
  • Drive project outcomes aligned with business objectives, both independently and as part of a team.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with VET Quality Framework, RTO Standards, AQF, and legislative requirements.
  • Provide data-driven insights through reports and presentations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Consult with stakeholders and SMEs to align learning initiatives with industry needs.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships to support organizational goals and foster innovation.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on training policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in content development and project management within a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in eLearning platforms (e.g., aXcelerate) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
