The Manager, Central Assessment & Performance Unit (CAPU) - Incident Response (IR) is a key leadership role responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems, policies, and procedures to ensure holistic, effective, and efficient end-to-end incident management.
The Manager CAPU IR will engage with various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that CAPU-IR's operating procedure and practices align with industry best practices, legislative requirements, and the RSHQ risk management framework.
The role is accountable for the operational performance of the unit and the production of management reports that are instrumental in providing incident data intelligence to inform regulatory practices.

The Manager CAPU IR will help uplift the maturity, efficiency, and effectiveness of incident reporting, playing a crucial role in strengthening the agency's overall risk-based approach.

We are seeking candidates with demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:
- High level management, leadership, and guidance to a team, including development and administration of business plans and budgets.
- Interpreting and applying health and safety legislation, as well as providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders about the application of legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated problem solving and high-level communication skills.
- Experience in developing recommendations and implementing change strategies to deliver quality service/operational outcomes, and improvements to business systems and processes.
- Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem resolution, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
