Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas and explosives industries.

The Occupational Health (OH) division within RSHQ is seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our Records team in the Health Surveillance Unit.

This role is offered on a temporary, fixed term basis.

As a Senior Administration Officer within the Records team you will be part of a team that is responsible for the receipt, review and release of requests for records held by the Health Surveillance Unit. You will monitor processes to identify and implement solutions that improve and maintain service delivery in relation to our records and information management, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

What we are looking for:

  • Delivery-orientated professional with an eye for detail and a passion for information management
  • Demonstrated experience in records and information management
  • The ability to provide support to your Team Leader in relation to day-to-day task management across the team
  • Well-developed communication and facilitation skills (written and oral) with an ability to work collaboratively in a dynamically changing environment and influence stakeholder actions
  • An ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
