Strong digital capability is important, particularly experience with SharePoint and tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.

Experience with investigation management systems will be highly regarded.

This temporary AO6 role (up to 10 months, with possible extension) sits within Resources Safety and Health and supports the ongoing development and operation of the Serious Incident Investigation Unit (SIIU).

Reporting to the Director, you will contribute to the delivery of the unit's work program. The role has a strong project focus, involves stakeholder engagement, the preparation of correspondence and briefings, often on sensitive issues, and provides high-quality advice and support to the unit's senior leaders.

A key aspect of the role is strengthening business systems and processes that support the investigation management system and information flow. This includes working within digital platforms including Microsoft (MS) Teams, SharePoint (lists, subsites, document libraries), Forms, and Power Automate to improve consistency and efficiency. Experience with investigation management systems is highly desirable.

You will also provide guidance and leadership to a coordinator role (one direct report).

Success in this role will require strong digital skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work effectively across projects, systems, and stakeholders. You will bring professionalism, adaptability, and resilience, supporting the SIIU's senior leaders to deliver key priorities.
It is expected the successful applicant would be available to commence the week beginning 14 September 2026.
