Administration Officer (Board of Examiners)

Join the Board of Examiners (BOE) Secretariat as the key point of contact for Queensland's coal and metalliferous mining industries.

In this role, you will manage and process applications, maintain accurate records and data, coordinate examinations, administer the Practising Certificate Scheme, and respond to stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

You will provide administrative and project support to the BOE, contribute to reporting and strategic initiatives, and engage with industry stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of BOE services.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion.
  • Proven experience in data management, record keeping and document control.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Lotus Notes, Microsoft Dynamics (EOS), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel and Teams to assist with note taking, record keeping. Meeting scheduling for internal and external parties would be highly regarded.
  • Experience working in an agile, high-volume administrative environment.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the success of a collaborative team.
