An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist - Senior will will have primary responsibility for supporting direct patient care and leading OT and CA staff on Extended Services Unit in an MDT model. The role is required to share leadership with the HP senior (Acute Services Unit) and has a secondary role of supporting services in the Acute Services Unit and to manage referrals from Emergency Department and the Paediatric ward.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level Occupational Therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced [discipline] practitioners and students as delegated.
• Adhere to relevant expectations outlined in the SCHHS and Allied Health Governance Framework documents and Business Rules to ensure that best patient outcomes are achieved in a transparent, ethical and accountable manner.

Remuneration value up to $76 388 p.a., comprising salary rates: $62.75 - $67.53 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time position available, 38 hrs p.f.).
