An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Early Intervention Parenting Clinician, (Psychologist or Social Worker) to deliver high level Psychology/Social Worker clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS).
Early Intervention Parenting Clinicians (EIPC) within Women's and Children's services work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within Child Youth and Family Health as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent high level Psychology/Social Worker clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Provide a range of evidence-based, behavioural and attachment-based therapeutic interventions that are provided early in the life of the child and early in the life of the problem. Interventions will be both targeted, family-centred, and result in improved outcomes for the parents and child/ren.
- Independently manage a clinical caseload with variable complexity, exercising competent professional judgement with appropriate supervision support and provide clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery.
Remuneration value up to $89 770 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time position, 38hrs p.f.).
