An exciting opportunity exists for a Pharmacist-Senior who will provide high level pharmaceutical services to the patients of Sunshine Coast Health in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will provide high-level clinical services throughout the patient journey, with both inpatient and outpatient care. Your responsibilities will include documenting patient admissions (inclusive of a best possible medication history), conducting clinical medication reviews, and collaboratively formulating medication management plans.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Perform the role with a high degree of independence with infrequent clinical and management supervision.
• Provide high level clinical advice to diverse stakeholders.
• Document clinical activities, incidents and interventions, consistent with the general documentation and reporting requirements of the department.
• Work cooperatively and effectively within the pharmacy and health care team.

Remuneration value up to $31,471 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64- $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent part time position, 15.2 hrs p.f.).
