We are looking for an exceptional Psychiatry consultant to join our Child and Youth team within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS)

SCHHS Salary includes:

• Base salary comprising of between
  • Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $100.77 - $117.05 p.h.
  • Senior Staff Specialist L25 L27 - $120.51 - $127.77 p.h.
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
  • Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $21,000 p.a.
  • Senior Staff Specialist L25 – L27 $25,500 p.a.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

The Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Psychiatry – Child and Youth) will work within the Mental Health and Specialised Services department. The successful candidate will need to be consumer and carer focused and will have sophisticated skills when working with families and other carers.

There are a number of roles including Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (AMYOS), Adolescent Day Program, and Headspace In reach Consultation Liaison Services. This position can be tailored to the interests and skill set of the successful applicant and will be negotiated during the recruitment process.
