An exciting opportunity exists for a Commissioning Officer Advanced, to play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful commissioning of ICT systems for capital projects across the SCHHS.
This role requires expertise in ICT commissioning delivery, including project planning, collaborating with diverse stakeholders (e.g., project managers, IT teams, clinical staff, end-users), go-live technical delivery, and hands-on commissioning and validation of ICT components such as end-user computing devices, wired and wireless networks, and integrating these critical components into the healthcare ecosystem.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Supports the commissioning, installation, and configuration of software, hardware, and/or equipment in clinical spaces, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and tests go-live readiness for newly commissioned areas.
- Builds, documents, and implements technical solutions for commissioning activities, adhering to best practice IM/ICT frameworks.
- Liaises and coordinates with stakeholders at all levels, including clinical staff and IT teams, to successfully coordinate the delivery of complex capital works programs.
Remuneration value up to $131,052p.a., comprising salary between $105,568 - $114,861 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5).
