An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Coordinator Protective Services. The purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate security operations at one of several main facilities within the SCHHS, ensuring a high standard of service delivery to staff, patients, and visitors through compliance with SCHHS policies and procedures.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure comprehensive security services and assistance are provided to patients, visitors, staff and contractors whilst at the same time protecting the physical assets and information owned by the SCHHS.
- Ensure rostering and payroll is managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and relevant award/s and is carried out in accordance with the applicable financial and HR delegations.
- Prioritise tasks and ensure requests for security and/or emergency assistance are in accordance with Queensland Health, service and facility guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure security provide prevention, intervention, investigation and recording of crime within the Health Service as defined by statute law, including but not limited to theft, wilful damage, assault, trespass, and public nuisance offences.
Remuneration value up to $103 636 p.a., comprising salary between $82 486 - $90 832p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO5).
