Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake monthly financial accounting processes, prepare reconciliations and workpapers in relation to the bank accounts, prepayments, inventory registers, other asset related balances, accounts payable, GR/IR, and other liability related balances, ensuring compliance with the Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements for Queensland Government agencies.
  • Prepare and process journals, including monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals as required to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions and to assist with maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Investigate and clear reconciling items and other accounting exceptions on a timely basis.

Remuneration value up to $114 177p.a., comprising salary between $90 832- $100 071p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4).
