An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Dentist who will provide high quality general practitioner dental services within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, provide clinical leadership, supervision and support for clinical staff to improve clinical capability and service outcomes and who will routinely provide advice and information about clinical and non-clinical matters.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide high quality general dental practitioner oral health services to the eligible population.
- Provide emergency dental care for eligible patients including triage and management of emergent urgent patients.
- Act as a referral source for clinical matters from other practitioners and accept referrals from other clinicians for complex case management.
- Assessment and management of referrals received from internal and external clinicians and health professionals.
Remuneration value up to $194 289 p.a., comprising salary between $158 532 - $170 285 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (DO2). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
