We’re excited to welcome a Fellow – Interventional Endoscopy to our Gastroenterology unit. Interventional Gastroenterology Team at Sunshine Coast University Hospital offers a full range of interventional endoscopy service which includes endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) including cholangioscopy (Spyglass), enteroscopy, luminal stenting, endoscopic mucosal resection, Barrett’s endoscopic resection and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).

We're excited to welcome a Fellow – Interventional Endoscopy to our Gastroenterology unit. The position is a fully funded role with the participation in 2 General Gastroenterology Clinics and up to 7 dedicated interventional lists a week. You will also have the opportunity to present and participate in X-ray and Oncology Multidisciplinary Meetings and enjoy a strong working relationship with our Surgical colleagues. A candidate with pre-existing experience with EUS and ERCP is preferred, but not essential. This position would suit a 3rd year advanced trainee in Gastroenterology or a 1st year post-nominal FRACP fellow who is interested to commence their subspecialty training in interventional endoscopy.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of Gastroenterology services to patients in accordance with the standards of the discipline and the ethics of the profession.
- Provision of Gastroenterology Services for patients that are consistent with the Clinical Services Capability Framework of the relevant facilities with the Health Service.
- Participate in the weekend and after-hours Endoscopy on-call roster.
- Provide safe and high-quality care to patients in accordance with the ethics and standards of the medical profession.
Salary rates: $4,966.90 - $6,980.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9, L10 - L13) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.).
