An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Advisor to join our Workplace Relations team to advise and support managers across the Sunshine Coast Health to address industrial and workplace relations issues, including, but not limited to: organisational change, union engagement, complex industrial grievances, workplace investigations, industrial disputes and external advocacy.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform the duties of the role independently, with available resources and guidance and support from the Principal Advisor Workplace Relations.
- Provide specialist advice to assist in the resolution of workplace relations issues of varying complexity, including organisational change, union engagement, industrial disputes and appeals, providing subject matter expertise to matters which escalate to external advocacy and forums (such as the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission).
- Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including with other Workforce Division teams, employees, supervising managers, senior and executive managers, unions, governmental departments and agencies, and other external forums.
- Provide specialist advice to support resolution of industrial matters and facilitate and case manage processes in relation to Public Service disputes and appeals.
Remuneration value up to $148 323 p.a., comprising salary between $121 360 - $129 998 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
