An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join the Alcohol and Other Drug Service within the Mental Health & Specialised Services Team. The Administration Officer is a frontline position and is the first point of contact for consumers of the Mental Health & Specialised Service (MHSS), their families and carers and all external and internal stakeholders accessing the service. This position provides customer service excellence while upholding patient confidentiality and utilising discretion. The Alcohol and Other Drug Service (AODS) specialise in the treatment of substance use or misuse problems as well as alcohol and/or drug(s) dependence. The team assists people to reduce the harm associated with alcohol and drug use.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicate with consumers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
- Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team, clinic preparation, referral management, consumer appointment scheduling, assist with Medicare claiming and fleet car management
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of, but not limited to Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA), Office 365, Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), S4HANA and MediRecords.
- Actively participate in maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality and security of clinical information.
Remuneration value up to $8138 p.m., comprising salary between $2950.00 - $3280.70 p.f. (f/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (temporary full time position available for 11 months).
