An exciting opportunity for a Casual Registered Nurse to join the Community Preventative Health team at Glenbrook RACF. Glenbrook is a standalone forty-five bed facility that accommodates older persons requiring residential permanent and/or respite care, mental health sub-acute care as well as those participating in residential transition care. The model of care differs across programs but is person centred and quality focussed.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
• Take responsibility for performing quality improvement activities related to a clinical portfolio from the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Aged Care Standards.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
• Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.

Salary rates: $51.33 - $65.84 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5) (several casual positions) Applications will remain current for 12 months / the duration of the vacancy. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
