An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join our Medical Workforce Unit team. This position provides efficient, effective administrative support within the Medical Workforce Unit, assisting with the recruitment and allocation of medical staff. The Medical Workforce Unit is tasked with effectively managing the medical workforce of Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). The functions of the Medical Workforce Unit include recruitment, retention, and credentialing of Medical Officers. The unit is also responsible for locum engagement, medical rosters, term rotations and leave management.

The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support across a range of areas including, but not limited to, Medical Officer Registration (AHPRA), Recruitment, Visa & Sponsorship, Provider Numbers, Relocation Claims, and Rostering/Allocation of Medical Staff. Portfolios within the unit are at the discretion of the Principal Advisor, Medical Workforce.
- Maintain highly confidential, efficient, and effective administrative support service to the Medical Workforce unit under the direction of the Principal Advisor-Medical Workforce.
- Operate with a high level of independence, particularly in relation to dealing with multiple undifferentiated enquiries on a wide range of topics.
- Be the first and central point of contact for Medical Officer enquiries and liaise with appropriate team members to ensure a professional, timely and accurate response is given.
Remuneration value up to $97 656 p.a., comprising salary between $76 963 - $85 591 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3).
