A unique opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to join the Deterioration Patient Response, Intensive Care Unit. The Deteriorating Patient Response (DPR) service aims to provide 24/7 proactive and reactive response to patients at risk of or in the process of deterioration in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to work unit/service practice development related to area of expertise by actively participating in clinical education networks and working collaboratively with health care teams across the care
- Facilitate accurate and timely communication to drive effective multi-disciplinary team
- Facilitate a learning environment by sharing knowledge and expertise, supporting the development of colleagues, and taking an active role in the performance appraisal
- Provide supervision and leadership to effectively assess, plan, manage and evaluate client outcomes at an advanced practitioner level.
Remuneration value up to $41 652 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part time position, 24 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
