Multiple exciting opportunities exist for Registered Nurses to join the team in Anaesthetic Nursing. The Operating Suite Anaesthetic Nursing team provides 24hr/7 day a week services for elective, trauma and emergency surgery supported by an after-hours on-call service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• This role provides direct clinical care to the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative patient working as an Anaesthetic Assistant alongside the Anaesthetist and multidisciplinary team.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
• Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
• Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.

Permanent, temporary, full time and/or part time positions available. Along with casual positions. 
Salary between $82 753 - $106 144 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $41.73 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t), or $51.33 - $65.84 p.h. (casual) (Nurse Grade 5) (several full time, part time or casual positions available, hours negotiable). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
