An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Assistant Advanced Team Leader. The position will provide high level pharmaceutical services to the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service. The position will ensure the safe, effective, judicious use of medicines across the continuum of care, whilst remaining compliant with relevant regulatory statues and promoting the efficient use of public resources.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to professional staff and undertake duties to relieve pharmacists of non-professional and technical tasks to ensure pharmaceutical services of the highest standard are provided in the most cost-effective manner.
- Directly manage, develop, train, mentor and support the team including development and undertaking performance appraisals.
- Manage a small team of Clinical Assistants to provide an efficient and effective pharmaceutical service, including but not limited to medication procurement, distribution, dispensing and stock take of pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy and designated areas of the hospital according to workplace instructions.
- Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
Remuneration value up to $104 161 p.a., comprising salary between $86 024 - $91 292 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA5).
