An exciting opportunity exists for a Advanced Automation Developer to join our Business Transformation Unit. The Advanced Automation Developer will provide a sound level of technical expertise to the development, implementation, administration, maintenance and support of information systems and services to the current and projected needs of the SCH. The Automation Development team develop and support digital and robotic process automation solutions to support clinical and corporate areas of the health service.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work with a team of computer professionals analysing, designing, developing, configuring and implementing automation solutions and services that require creative solutions and fulfil diverse user requirements.
  • Undertake complex systems analysis, design, programming and testing in relation to the detailed development, maintenance and enhancement and maintenance of automation solutions that are utilised throughout the SCHHS.
  • Undertake the role of technical lead, in conjunction with the Project Manager or Business Analyst to assist the Business Users to define their detailed requirements and work jointly with them to define, create and implement a working productions solution.
  • Proactively manage own workload, including the estimation of effort required to complete maintenance or development tasks to meet agreed timeframes, budgets and priorities and also contribute to a team environment to meet agreed outcomes.

Remuneration value up to $131 052 p.a, comprising salary between $4046.40 - $4402.60 p.f, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 3 months).
